BECOME A MEMBER

If you want to support the art scene in the Bryan-College Station region, please consider joining the Visual Art Society. Our nonprofit organization, founded in 1972 to promote visual arts and arts education, is an all-volunteer organization since day one. We welcome both artists and non-artists alike.

BENEFITS OF MEMBERSHIP

  • Show your work in our exhibition sites located in local businesses.

  • Members may enter the Art Society’s annual members only art show.

  • Members may enter the annual juried competition and our Arts Council show at a discount over non-members.

  • Members are some of the first to be notified about the low-cost workshops held.

  • Business/Non-profit sponsors receive recognition on the website and at special events.

  • Members have their own webpage on our website.  Click "Our Artists" on the top menu. 

  • Members have perks for many Degallery activities for artists:

    • 10% discount on all workshops given by Degallery. Here is the LINK for the schedule and to sign up.

    • Free entry to First Saturday Art Market (September to May).  Register HERE.

    • Discounted price of $10 for the Dress Up Live Model (long pose) every second Tuesday 1-4pm.  Bring cash or check.

Your support enables the Visual Art Society of Bryan-College Station to provide art education, scholarships and share exciting, innovative exhibits and events with our local community.

Students receive all Individual benefits.  Must be able to provide proof of enrollment.  Requires renewal each year.

For one person or artist.  All skill levels, professional or not.  Benefits include membership, discounts for workshop registration, show entry, art fair and members only exhibitions.  Newsletter.

VAS FAMILY MEMBERSHIP

With a family membership, all immediate family members residing in the same household get the advantages of an individual membership. Each individual enters shows and registers for workshops on their own.

FRIEND OF THE ARTS

Friend of the Arts includes all benefits of the Individual Membership plus recognition of the VAS website. To be renewed annually.
