I paint because I have to. I am in the studio everyday. I have been painting for 72 years. Back in the 60s I went to Sam Houston; majored in Art . My work is Texas impressionism.
- Fun fact:
- I owned and ran a Gallery in Galveston for 5 years. Figured out that I wanted more time and the solitude of the country to paint more, so I bought a small place just outside of Centerville. Enough space so to nourish my needs. I teach and create almost daily in my studio. As I rediscover Plein Air it is becoming a renewed friend and a great teacher.
