Call for Artists: VAS Fall Member Show

We are excited to announce our 2026 Member Show “From Sea to Shining Sea” at Degallery. The deadline for our member artists is August 26, 2026 and the show will run from September 4 to September 30, 2026. The details will be coming soon. As America’s 250th celebration draws to a close, From Sea to Shining Sea is a celebration of the American journey — the back roads and byways, the hometown pride, the roadside attractions, and the enduring spirit of Route 66 inspired Americana.

This exhibition invites artists to capture the textures of American life: neon lights glowing at dusk, grain silos against open skies, family-run motels, old pickup trucks, faded postcards, local parades, diners, deserts, and dreams. Through painting, photography, sculpture, mixed media, and more, we seek works that honor the stories and landscapes that connect us from one coast to another.

Every hometown has a story. Every road leads somewhere. We invite you to share yours.
