DESCRIPTION:Taught by Robyn Glass\, this workshop introduces participants to the artform of papercut; where images are created through careful cutting and removal of paper. During the 4-hour workshop\, all will have the opportunity to create a papercut piece from start to finish. \nTopics discusses include transferring visual information to a linear format\, laying out a drawing\, varying cutting methods and techniques\, positive and negative space\, and ways of finalizing the papercut with color. \nLearn more

DESCRIPTION:VAS-BCS will provide the refreshments and food and we’ll enjoy this festive time together as we so often have in the past. We will also have our white elephant gift exchange\, which is totally optional but loads of fun! \nIf you’d like to participate\, then bring a small gift to contribute to the pool. Those of us who are artists typically bring a small something that we have created.  Some have even brought note cards\, artist supplies or custom calendars as gifts.
