DESCRIPTION:CALL FOR ENTRY – DEADLINE EXTENDED JANUARY 4\, 2024\nThe Visual Art Society of B-CS invites submissions to “Resolutions”. This winter exhibition will be on display in the gallery at The Arts Council of Brazos Valley  January 10 or 11-February 9\, 2024\, and is open to all artists. (Note: The Arts Council will be painting the gallery\, and is not sure when the paint will be dry enough to hang the artwork.) We accept works from emerging\, mid-career\, and/or professional artists. For this exhibition\, we encourage artists to explore the theme of new beginnings by thinking about the challenges\, rewards and images of starting over\, as well as the power of art to help us visualize our hopes and dreams for the future. This prompt is very open and subject to many different interpretations. \nAcceptable mediums include Acrylic\, Charcoal\, Collage\, Color Pencil\, Computer Art\, Digital Art\, Digital Photography\, Drawings\, Fiber Arts\, Glass Art\, Graphite\, Gouache\, Illustration\, Mixed Media\, New Media\, Oil\, Pastel\, Pen and Ink\, Printmaking\, Sculpture\, Studio Fine Crafts\, Traditional Photography\, or Watercolor and others. \nAll submissions must be family-friendly.
